Comet Shuttle machines feature MAAC’s most recent and most innovative machine design. These models take advantage of our latest easy to use Allen Bradley PLC controls, motor driven platens and the most efficient “Instant On”/“Instant Off” quartz ovens in the industry.
Comet Shuttle machines can be built from both our C-Frame and M-Frame platforms. C-Frame platform machines come standard with 2-post platens and are built on our 1-piece construction, plug and play mainframe design. M-Frame platform machines come standard with 4-post platens and are built on our multi-piece construction mainframe design.
Configuration Options
Single Station (S) Our most popular small to mid-size shuttle machine. Material is manually loaded and unloaded in the form station.
Single Station with Load Station (S-L) Material is loaded and unloaded in a dedicated station. Most common for large parts.
Double Ender (DE) Incorporates a 2nd form station for increased production. Material is manually loaded and unloaded in each form station.
Double Ender with Load Stations (DE-L) Material is loaded and unloaded in dedicated stations for each side. Most common for large parts.
