MAAC Shuttle Pressure Former
Air cell lockup high pressure forming is done with machinery specifically designed for this process. This technique extends both platens, locking them to each other, then inflating air cells under a floating plate attached to the bottom platen. MAAC Shuttle Pressure Formers feature our heaviest and most accurate, “zero deflection” motor driven platens and are available with multiple control system options.
Configuration Options
Single Station Pressure Former (SP) Our most popular small to mid-size shuttle machine. Material is loaded and unloaded in the form station.
Single Station Pressure Former with Load Station (SP-L) Material is loaded and unloaded in a dedicated station.
Double Ender Pressure Former (DEP) Incorporates a 2nd form station. Material is loaded and unloaded in each form station.
Double Ender Pressure Former with Load Stations (DEP-L) Material is loaded and unloaded in dedicated stations for each side.
